Text Poem: Summer with Dad
Text:
Awe that’s ok I wanted to
see if I could get bottles
from like food city for our
softball bottle drive.
Poem:
I wanted to play softball for him..
Not spend my summer in the city.
I wanted to eat food from my garden.
I didn’t want anything from a bottle.
I wanted to drive away, ok?
I didn’t want the “awe, maybe next time” excuse.
I wanted to see the Grand Canyon.
I tried to like the concrete jungle, but it wasn’t for me.
I wanted to have some fun.
I knew I could if our dad wasn’t working all the time.
I wanted to get something out of my summer.
That’s it.
Awe that’s ok I wanted to
see if I could get bottles

softball bottle drive.
