Breaking the Law: Sleeping in a City
The cars is honking
The dogs is barking
But I is sleeping to the sound of my dreams.
The dusk sky are fading to black.
The skyline are filling up with lights.
But I is watching the darkness of the backs of my eyelids.
The food carts is smelling greasy.
The exhausts is suffocating.
But I is smelling my blanket against my cheek.
The pavement are rough and hard.
The wind are gritty like the alleys.
But I is laying in my soft warm bed.
The city are scary.
The streets is dirty.
But I is safe and sound.
